GO-LIVE SURVIVAL GUIDE

We’re now less than two weeks out, but don’t despair—your UConn HealthONE Go-live Survival Guide is here!

Share, print, and keep handy as April 28 approaches to ensure you and your peers will be adequately prepared for our upcoming transformation. For questions or concerns, please send an email to the designated email addresses listed in the survival guide.

HEALTHONE FAIRS

When we go live, ensuring that patients are moved electronically in HealthONE will ensure continuity of care across the system.

Though most end users covered patient movement during HealthONE training, we are now offering HealthONE Fairs to demonstrate these capabilities and answer your questions.

Additionally, a patient movement guide has been developed to assist users through the patient movement process. You’ll see a walkthrough of both common and complex patient movement workflows.

To ensure all end users are equipped with tools to succeed at go-live, the patient movement guide will be available within the learning home dashboard in HealthONE. During go-live, please reference this guide to assist you with the patient movement process. If you need assistance finding this guide, please ask your at-the-elbow support or super user for assistance.

TRAINING UPDATE

CPMRS/CTPMP Integration with HealthONE

Several providers have recently written to ask about a recent CT state Prescription Monitoring Program (CTPMP) initiative, related to the integration of the Connecticut Prescription Monitoring and Reporting (CPMRS) system into electronic medical records.

While this new initiative is an exciting opportunity to better integrate this program into the electronic prescribing workflow, it was only announced recently. Therefore, it is not something that will be developed in time for our April 28th go-live date.

What we will have related to this, at go-live, are two links within HealthONE that will make it easy for providers to log in and check the CTPMP database. After that, we will plan further review and prioritize this effort for optimization.

  1. A link to the CTPMP login screen, available from the top of the provider screen in HealthONE.
  2. Access directly to the CTPMP database from Best Practice Alerts that arise when ordering narcotics.

To learn more, email Dr. Dirk Stanley, our CMIO, stanley@uchc.edu.

Having you taken your Dragon dictation training yet?

In addition to the training labs that have been open in the library, we’re bringing the training to you. Learn more about these convenient modifications.
